Martialwaking Chronicles

It’s been a while since my last post. My blogs usually tend to die rather quickly because months usually go between my posts. This one is just barely hanging on. But i am determined to make this one survive (Gimme 50cc’s of random stuff …. this should do the trick ^_^;;). In any case quite a bit of stuff has happened in the past few months and i do plan to go into more details on that …. later ….. eventually >_>;;. In any case the short of it is that two long semesters of Aviation Maintenance is done and now it’s time to do the FAA exams. So far i’ve passed the written exam for the Airframe section of the exam (with 96% yay >_<) and i plan on doing the General section on monday. Not that optimistic about that one though >_>. Hopefully i don’t totally bomb in it. Should probably be doing more studying -_-.

Aside from that i’ve been working on finally getting my drivers license, about time too, and before people start hitting me with the expected “you don’t have your license yet?!?!?”, it wasn’t really necessary for me back home because i could get anywhere in the country via public transportation. It’s like trying to get around New York city with a car, it’ll be so much easier to use the bus and the subway to get around rather than battling traffic. So i just lazily never went for it ^_^;;. Well actually …. i did start the process once but couldn’t finish due to my glasses being broken at the moment. I got my glasses a week later ….. and sort of never went back >_>;;. In Berrien Springs, MI it’s a different story however …. if you plan to get anything done you better have a car or someone you can catch a ride with. There is no public transport in the sense of busses and taxi’s in the area (save for the Berrien Bus, but I’m not too sure how that one works 0_o). That aside i think things are going well and i should have it soon.

Welp, that’s about it. This my first post since …. meh …. a long time ago. Things are a bit hectic so i don’t really have the time to sit and write a full post all the time so most times twitter does just fine XD.

Ha today I made it first to class. Usually I am among the last to get into class (I’m sure that my late streak has not gone unoticed >_>;;;). In any case a friend of mine was completely sure the I wouldn’t make it here this early. So I just have this to say …………. IN YOUR FACE!!!!!!! *ehem* well that’s about it.

It seems that a few months always past before i actually get a new post up ^ _ ^”. For this i apologize ….. though it’s not likely to change > _ >. In any case i’ll assume the blogger role for a few minutes. This post is to more or less update you on recent happenings concerning both MW and me as well. In the past few months i have managed to do alot concerning the Martial Waking Theme V.3 and it should be about ready for release whenever i can get around to finishing it up. The good thing is that the initial design stage is complete so now i just need to implement theme and deploy it both on my wordpress blog (which involves making a wordpress theme ||| _ – ) and on my sweetcron site. This will take ….ohhh about3 more months ….. just kidding (i hope > _ >). In any case look out for it soon. As for me in the past few months I’ve managed to do a lot. I’ve gotten my gaming desktop built, finished a working linux server and gotten my new Dell Studio 1537. I’ve also passed all of my courses with B’s, B-’s an A’s. Now all that’s left is to do the FAA Private Pilot Written Exam (for which i should be studying < _ <). A few cool things happened at work too. A Yak-52 (the video is on my youtube account …which is linked somewhere below. ) and on his way out he did a flyby which was pretty awesome. I also got to see a Cirrus SR-22 close up. I also for the first time traveled to my one of my relative’s place in Pennsylvania on my own via Greyhound ….. the trip took 24 hours …..24 HOURS. At least i got a lot of pictures. The reason for the trip was that my aunt and my uncle were renewing their vows. It was pretty nice ^_^. And i also got to see my cousin, who is still as energetic as ever XD (yes you are kuri-chan). The trip back was more or less uneventful (with the exception of the last bus which had wifi > _ <) and i made it back to campus without any mishaps (except for the homeless guy in Pittsburgh …. which is a story for another time). All in all it was a good trip and i enjoyed it. Well that’s about it as far as updates. If it wasn’t for twitter … i think nothing new would ever show up on this site XD.

I realize that this blog is slowly succumbing to the usual fate that plagues most of my blogs. Slow and painful disregard. But i have decided that i will at least maintain one blog. So to begin I’ll just update and stuff and probably rant on others, and what better way to begin than by writing in a state of mind that can only be achieved at 2:41 in the morning. After all complete exhaustion tends to bring the truth out of our weary minds ….. that or complete and utter nonsense. In any case here we go. Well the current semester is almost over and i think it pretty much went as well as i could have hoped. Quite a bit happened, i learned a lot and I’ve seen a lot too. I’ve gotten to do a lot of stuff I’ve been trying to do for a while such as building a desktop (A.K.A. Project Toshiko ….. though it somehow ended up being named Kallen when it was done 0_o) and finally replacing my worn out (but faithfully indestructible) Inspiron 1300 with a dell studio. A lot of interesting have happened through the semester but my mind is too exhausted to really recall anything -_-. The thing i found the strangest is how easily i just got used to everything over here. After the first few weeks of learning locations …. it just became ….to put i simply …. home base. Things were just normal and i shifted over as if nothing had changed. Only disadvantage is that i still waste as much time as i usually do. As i type this sleep is slowly defeating me but i am determined to finish this. What i wonder however, is what else is there to type, perhaps how the mind  descends into madness consciousness begins to fade (in a second while i was falling asleep i wrote this in the line above “how the mind  descends into madness as the gear begins to descend” …… aircraft? …. your subconscious really tend to come out then i guess.) ……………

I am quite serious …. I am currently working on Martial Waking v.43. Because I’m bad at surprises I’m going to give you at least the title. *drum roll* ….. Ladies and gentlemen, dudes and dudetes, otaku and otakuettes?? Otakuines ??? …… uhhhh back on track …. ehem I present to you, the title of Martial Waking version 4 ….. “Ironic Winter” …… Right? Right? ….. silence …… and a cricket …. oh come on it wasn’t that bad ….. cricket dies …. Wha? …. grumble -_- fine then but I assure you that the design is not as bad as the name. In any case lookout for mw3 …. In development now and coming soon to a monitor near you.

Well it seems as though everything went well with the preparations for going to Andrews University because i am writing this post from my laptop in Fort Lauderdale, miami International Airport. I have a few hours to wait before my flight to Chicago O’ Hare but till then, i think therefore i blog. The past 2 weeks or so have been a complete blur of miracles, impossible things coming through and non-stop surprises. Everything just fell into place one after the other and I’m still kinda dumbstruck about the whole thing. I can only thank God because the way things fell into place at the last minute this could only be an act of God. That aside I’m even more excited, though i wish that i didn’t have to wait 3 more hours -_-. In any case I’m keeping occupied by playing Halo and Call of Duty XD.  Till i find something else to blog about …..

It seems like my life is about to get a whole lot different.  Monday gone i received my I-20 form from Andrews University in Michigan, that would allow me to get my student visa. That is a very good thing indeed … except that it came really really close to when i was supposed to leave. Since then it has been a hectic scramble to get everything in order and to make sure that i would have everything i needed while i was up there. Now most (if not all of it –”) is my fault as i stupidly put the notion in my head that since it seemed that i would not get through in time for December i would just reschedule for September (more like August of 2009) and i would just relax and stuff and get everything ready in time and without a rush. A few words on that …… stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid  … STUPID -_- . In any-case I’ve been trying my best to get it all done and despite everything i am quite excited to finally get to do what I’ve dreamed of doing all my life, which by the way if I’ve never mentioned it online, is to become a pilot. I’m just waiting to get one last thing and i am praying that it comes in time for my flight next week …… good heavens 0_o.

In other news:

* I apologize to my superiors and co-workers at work for having to leave on such short notice. I was supposed to finish at least two projects for them but it seems as though that would be pretty much impossible now. Once again i apologize and i hope that i can help in anyway i can.
* The Caribbean Traffik Jam Site is completely done and I’ll be posting a link to it in my portfolio in a few days.

Well it seems as if that’s it for this very hastily written blog post. Till more news comes up, and i’m sure it will
